How did I get to this point you may ask?  I have been looking for a creative way of expressing myself but this isn’t easy, why you may ask? Well simply put…children.  2 Of them in fact…with a third on the way…all under three. (Cue the jokes about nothing being on the TV, no condoms in the house and the likes – which are funny!) but the truth of it is….i wouldn’t have it any other way! Its scary….its exciting…it’s the moments that you can never truly understand until you’re in that situation with kids of your own. So this has led me to write a blog, why? Well I don’t know, to express myself, to make sense of it all once its written down, to help struggling fathers in similar situations, to be a genuine insight into fatherhood for new dads, but let me point out, Im not saying Im a great father by any means, but Im going in the right direction. Hey Guys! My name is James, but most people call me Jamesy. Im 30,and have two young boys, one aged 2 and one aged 1. I also have a little girl due in March 2018. The purpose of this blog is a following of my daily life with my kids and the situations we as dads can find ourselves daunting. Im not one to follow "principles" or "Models" to be a good dad, but I do value the experience of the real dads out there and what we go through, I want this blog to become a support, a learning tool, an interaction for any dads out there in the world, a place where we can share the experiences and become equipped to be ever better parents! I hope to carry this blog further and grow it and make it as interactive as possible, and hopefully start a private Facebook group where we can do online Q&A sessions as well.
